1) Software Engineer –Storage
Job Description
Responsibilities:
As a key contributor in System Software Development, responsible for developing storage platform software in Storage Area Networking. Responsible for development and maintenance of storage Application services. Additional responsibilities include supporting software development organization in creating and executing software tools to perform system integration.
Requirements:
· Working experience in protocol development in storage area networking and system software development in real-time embedded environment.
· Must have working knowledge of storage protocols (SCSI, FCP, SAS, SATA).
· Experience working in real-time kernel/embedded Unix in a multi-threaded environment.
· Must be fluent in using scripting languages in a Unix environment.
· Experience in C or C++(OOPS), C-shell, Tcl, Expect to develop unit test cases and unit test automation.
· Must be conversant with embedded software development tools and debuggers.
Desirable:
· Experience working with embedded software components such as boot loaders, device drivers and kernel modules;
· Experience with I/o bus protocols and working knowledge of traffic generators and protocol analyzers.
· Experience working with source code control tools.
· Familiarity with Storage Applications (e.g., Backup, Replication, Migration), Storage Software (e.g., Multipath Drivers, Volume Managers), Operating Systems internals, or HBA driver development.
2) Test Engineer –QOS
Brief Description:
Candidate will be responsible for testing and automation of software features for Layer2/Layer-3 switch. Should be able to independently write and execute test plans, design and implement test automation based on product requirements. Will be responsible for analyzing test results, problem reporting, recreation, and verification.
Requirements:
· Strong understanding of Layer2/Layer-3 protocols. QoS, PFC and related technologies preferred.
· Experience in software testing and test automation using Expect/TCL, shell scripting, Perl, C on Windows/Unix platforms is preferred
· B.S/M.S. in Computer Science , Computer Engineering or equivalent.
· Experience in dealing and testing complex test configuration preferred.
· Strong background in software testing methodology, test development, test execution and report generation .
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Quick learning ability
· Excellent teamwork skills
Education: BS/BE/BTECH/ME/MTech in CS/EE/ECE is required
Experience: 3-6 yrs
2. Software Engineer - L2 Forwarding
Job Description:
You will be working on state of the art network processors, and on the latest Enterprise switches technology, carrier Ethernet technologies and data center technologies. Perform software design and implementation of packet forwarding. Enhance application level functionalities and features for networking platforms. Propose design architectures and solutions for new features and enhancements. Work closely with hardware engineering staff, particular in network processing and switching. Resolve software issues that arise during testing cycle and from customers. Work closely with software quality assurance engineering to review feature test plans and confirm functions.
Degrees and Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS degree in EE, CS, IT or related field plus 4+ years of progressive work experience in the following general areas
• TCP/IP stack
• VLAN, MAC Mgr
• VPLS, VLL, Pseudo wire, Mac in Mac

The candidate will be involved in the feature definition, engineering design, software implementation of L2 protocols and new data center and carrier Ethernet protocols. Resolve software issues that arise during testing cycle and from customers. The candidate will also interact with marketing and customer support in addressing customer feature requests and customer issues.
Degrees and Required Skills:
The ideal candidate should have BS or MS and 4+ years SW implementation experiences working in one or more of the following areas:
